Alhtough I haven't finished this book, I'm almost there. Very detailed information, and eye opening. It does start out with background information and how all of the GMO came about and why and who was involved - from long ago. Really wanted to read more about current events- maybe that's what I haven't gotten to read yet.This book will make you mad - at the powers to be and the rich that want to take control of the 4 major industries to have complete control over the world - and this is just one of those industries (FOOD) with the others being Medicine, Oil, and Money. You will find out by reading this book that the government and a few very wealthy individuals are controlling everything and not just in the US- but all over the world. I had no idea how far they had gone in controlling the resources for their use in the future. Great read, detailed, and some redundancy, but would recommend this for anyone wanting to know how far things have gotten out of hand and how blind we are to not fight back. There is a hidden agenda and it's all around us. Open Your Eyes!!
An absolute must read for anyone concerned about genetically modified foods and what they do to people. This is more of the politics behind it rather than a scientific review of GMO. For more science of GMOs, read Seeds of Deception. The politics behind it is just as important because the author shows how it really began with the Eugenics movement, which the NAZIs adopted as a national policy. then after that was discredited, the Rockefellers brought it into the mainstream of America and it's not just genetically modified foods, it's people too. Scary stuff, but real.
Another good account of how the biotech industry has corrupted, covered up and maligned many, in an attempt to totally control our food supply. I believe we will be seeing more and more evidence that points to such corruption and the lies we have been "fed" from the biotech industry and sanctioned by the FDA and the government.
Reads like an intriguing James Bond script... intrigue and corruption in high places. World domination is not enough for Monsanto or the Rockefellers, they want genocide too. Kept reading each chapter hoping for some great super-hero to sort it out, but there is no movie ending here, but more like the preparations being put in place for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to be released upon the world. A real Eye-opener and information everyone should know so we understand what is really going on behind the scenes of World Governments. Could not put it down till I read it through.
The shadow politicians cast over the so called Age of Enlightenment is criminal. Previously we went to war to kill ourselves for ideals. Today we just have to eat food to get ourselves killed by our farmers and their political protectors. Yet we still go off to war. We are living in a Dark Age of Madness now. Nowhere is the human race safe not even in our homes at dinner time. The killers now own the supermarkets also.

After I read this book, I ordered and read four more F. William Engdahl books. He's perhaps the most astute and scholarly geopolitical analyst today who authors books with integrity. It will change your perception on how things tick behind world politics and behind the curtains where a select group dictates on to the complete destruction of world ,nature and society. Shocking . This is the definitive book on the dangers of GMO food crops. Meticulously researched and cited, the author takes you all the way back to the very beginning of the whole GMO idea, which really began with the Rockefeller family and Henry Kissinger. Through political blackmail, backdoor deals, legislative manipulation and outright lies, the Rockefellers paved the way for Monsanto, Dow, Astra-Zeneca, and DuPont... literally, just FOUR mega-corporations... to own something like 80% of the world's food supply. This isn't just about causing infertility in order to control the population explosion, though that's how the whole thing basically started, with ties to Nazi eugenics (getting rid of "imperfect" humans). This is also about the financial enslavement of South America, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia by the United States. It was the most hideous, egregious, repulsive thing I've ever read and it is absolutely true. Get ready to have your eyes opened, big-time.
